The Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded Marine Corps Operator is a California-compliant SAO (Single Action Only) semi-automatic 1911 pistol chambered in 45 ACP, purpose-built for personal protection and sport shooting. This variant ships with a 7-round capacity to satisfy California magazine restrictions while keeping the full-size Operator's combat-oriented feature set intact.

Up top, the pistol carries a 5-inch stainless steel match-grade barrel housed in a carbon steel slide finished in Black Armory Kote with front and rear serrations for confident press checks and manipulations. The steel frame wears the signature OD Green Armory Kote finish that defines the Marine Corps Operator series, paired with an ambidextrous thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, lightweight delta hammer, and an extended trigger for a refined single-action pull.

Low-profile no-snag tritium night sights are fitted for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. Controls are rounded out with Pachmayr wraparound rubber grips that tame felt recoil and lock in a secure hold under rapid fire.
