The Springfield Armory 1911 Garrison in 9mm Luger blends heirloom-quality 1911 construction with modern manufacturing upgrades that serious shooters expect. Built on a forged carbon steel frame with a traditional blued finish, the Garrison carries the classic lines of the original 1911 while adding practical refinements like an extended beavertail grip safety and a clean, low-profile thumb safety for confident handling.

At the heart of this pistol is a 5" stainless match grade steel barrel paired with a blued serrated carbon steel slide, giving shooters the accuracy potential of a match-grade tube with the rugged blued finish that defines traditional 1911 styling. Serrations on the slide provide a positive grip for press checks and manipulations, while the 3-Dot sights deliver a straightforward sight picture suitable for both range and defensive use.

The Garrison runs on a proven single-action-only (SAO) trigger system and feeds from a 9-round detachable magazine for a 9+1 total capacity in 9mm Luger.
