Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS Comp Pac 9mm Luger 5" 20+1 Semi-Auto Pistol

The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS Comp Pac takes the proven 1911 platform and builds it into a high-capacity, optic-ready 9mm Luger pistol designed for range and defensive use. This full-size double-stack carries 20+1 rounds and ships as a complete Gear Pac ready to run right out of the box.

At its core, the Prodigy AOS Comp wears a 5" forged stainless steel bull barrel and a forged carbon steel frame finished in Black Cerakote. An integrated compensator is machined into the slide to help tame muzzle rise during rapid strings, and the slide is also serrated for confident manipulation. Springfield cuts the slide for optics through the company's AOS (Agency Optic System) plate interface, and a Viridian RFX11 green-dot optic is included in the package so you can mount and shoot immediately.

A crisp single-action trigger, ambidextrous safety, and familiar 1911 controls give the Prodigy a classic manual of arms, while the black polymer grip module delivers a modern, high-capacity feel. The double-stack magazine well accepts both 17-round and 20-round magazines, and the Gear Pac ships with four magazines plus a soft pistol bag so you have everything you need to hit the range.
