Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS 9mm Luger 5" 10+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - Coyote Brown Cerakote

The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS takes the proven 1911 platform and reimagines it with a double-stack magazine well, keeping the manual-of-arms and feel that have made the 1911 a defensive and competition standard. Chambered in 9mm Luger, this Coyote Brown Prodigy is built on a forged steel frame finished in Coyote Brown Cerakote, with a carbon steel slide cut for the AOS (Agency Optic System) plate pattern and dressed with slide serrations.

A 5" barrel is rifled with a 1:16 twist for accuracy across common 9mm bullet weights. The slide is optic-ready out of the box via the AOS plate pattern to accept popular micro red dots. Fiber optic front and serrated rear sights are installed for a co-witnessed backup aiming solution. A polymer grip module is shaped around the double-stack magazines, and this low-capacity variant ships with 10-round magazines for jurisdictions that restrict standard double-stack capacity.

At roughly 33 oz unloaded and measuring 8.5" overall with a 5.5" height, the Prodigy balances pointability and controllability for duty, defensive, and range use. This is a complete semi-auto pistol delivering a 10+1 capacity, with the full Prodigy feature set in a compliance-friendly configuration.
