The Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS takes the classic 1911 platform and reconfigures it around a double-stack magazine well for serious 9mm Luger capacity. This 4.25" semi-auto pistol ships as a complete Gear Pac loaded with the accessories you need to hit the range right out of the box.

Built on a forged steel frame with a Black Cerakote finish, the Prodigy pairs its duty-grade construction with a high-capacity black polymer grip module that controls recoil while keeping the grip profile slim. The single-action trigger breaks cleanly, and an ambidextrous thumb safety paired with a grip safety makes the pistol intuitive for both right- and left-handed shooters. A match-grade bull barrel in stainless rides in the frame for precision and easy maintenance. Overall length is 7.8".

The slide is cut for the Agency Optic System (AOS), accepting a wide range of today's most popular micro red dots right out of the box, and features aggressive serrations for positive press checks and manipulations. With a 17-round flush-fit and a 20-round extended magazine included, the Prodigy delivers the capacity of a modern duty pistol with the shootability of a 1911.

The Gear Pac package includes four total magazines, a compatible optic, and a range bag so you have everything needed to maintain, transport, and run the pistol from day one.
