The Springfield 1911 Emissary is a premium 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built on the classic Government-profile 1911 platform. This all-black variant features a Cerakote finish applied over a forged carbon steel slide and forged stainless steel frame, giving it a sleek, low-reflectivity appearance. A tri-top cut slide with 40 LPI flat-top serrations helps diffuse light and aids in press checks and manipulation.

The Emissary carries a 5-inch heavy-profile bull barrel with a 1:16" twist and a fully supported ramp for maximum accuracy and reliable feeding. It feeds from nine-round single-stack magazines, providing a 9+1 capacity in 9mm Luger. The pistol measures 8.4 inches overall, 5.25 inches tall, and weighs 43 oz. Sights consist of a tritium/luminescent front paired with a tactical rack U-notch rear for fast, intuitive target acquisition. The grip is dressed with VZ Grips thin-line G10 panels. An integral Picatinny accessory rail accepts lights and lasers, and a one-piece full-length guide rod recoil system tames muzzle flip.
