The Spikes Tactical ST-T1 Heavy Buffer is a high-density replacement carbine buffer engineered for the AR-15/M4 platform. The body is CNC machined from solid billet aluminum bar stock and loaded with tungsten weights, bringing the buffer to approximately 3.0 oz - heavier than a standard carbine buffer - to deliver a firmer, more positive recoil impulse and help tame the cycling behavior of overgassed rifles.

Spikes Tactical designed the ST-T1 specifically as an upgrade for AR-platform carbines that suffer from overgassing, short-stroking, or inconsistent lockup. The added tungsten mass also makes it well-suited to suppressed rifles and machine-gun platforms where extra bolt momentum keeps the action running reliably. Because the weights are encapsulated inside the aluminum body, there are no fluids to leak - just a solid, sealed buffer that drops into any standard mil-spec carbine buffer tube.

The buffer body carries a tough black hardcoat anodized finish for corrosion resistance and is laser engraved with the ST-T1 model designation. It ships with the mil-spec rubber bumper installed, ready to drop into a collapsible carbine stock.
