The Speer 2005 Varmint Hollow Point bullets are .30 caliber / .308" 130 grain reloading projectiles built for explosive terminal performance on varmints and predators. Each bullet features a Jacketed Hollow Point design with a large hollow point cavity, a thin copper jacket, and a lead core, engineered to fragment and expand violently on impact for fast, decisive kills.
The lightweight 130-grain profile drives flat, high-velocity trajectories from a wide range of .30 caliber rifles, and the varmint-tuned JHP geometry is dialed in for rapid, dramatic energy transfer. Whether you are popping prairie dogs, dialing in a new load at the range, or working coyotes and other predators, these Speer varmint bullets deliver the blend of accuracy and explosive expansion reloaders expect from the Speer varmint line.
Specs at a glance: each bullet measures 0.890" overall length with a 0.308" diameter, a ballistic coefficient of .263, and a sectional density of .196. Speer's own reloading data covers these projectiles in .30-06 Springfield loads, and the .308" diameter and bullet geometry make them a natural fit for handloaders building similar .30 caliber rifle cartridges where rapid, dramatic expansion is desired.
This listing is for one box of 100 Jacketed Hollow Point bullets, packed and ready for your reloading bench. A full case contains 5 boxes (500 bullets total).
