The Speer 1053 Varmint Soft Point is a .22 caliber (.224" diameter) rifle reloading bullet purpose-built for varmint and small game hunting. At 70 grains with a Semi-Spitzer profile, this jacketed soft point delivers controlled expansion rather than explosive terminal effects.

The bullet pairs a copper jacket with a lead core and lead tip, and is non-cannelured. It carries a ballistic coefficient of .214, a sectional density of .199, and an overall bullet length of .790".
