The Smith & Wesson SD40 2.0 is a compact .40 S&W striker-fired semi-automatic pistol with a flat-face trigger, built for everyday carry, home defense, and range use. The striker-fired action ships without a manual thumb safety.

Chambered in .40 S&W with a 14+1 round capacity, the SD40 2.0 pairs a 4" stainless steel barrel with a satin stainless steel slide featuring serrations for positive press-checks and manipulations. The slide rides on a black polymer frame that integrates an under-barrel Picatinny accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers, while a textured polymer grip delivers a secure, controlled hold.

Built around a compact frame, the SD40 2.0 measures 5.5" tall and 1.29" wide with an unloaded weight of 22.7 oz, making it well suited for concealed carry without sacrificing the capacity of a full-size duty pistol. A white-dot front sight provides a fast, intuitive sight picture for defensive use.

This new SD40 2.0 ships with one 14-round magazine and is backed by Smith & Wesson's limited warranty.
