The Performance Center treatment polishes the trigger, cylinder release, and cylinder flutes, giving this double-action-only carry revolver a noticeably smoother feel right out of the box.

Built around a lightweight matte silver aluminum-alloy frame paired with a stainless steel barrel and a fluted stainless cylinder, the Model 642 carries 5 rounds at a trim 14.4 oz. The fluted cylinder is cut for moon clips (included) to make +P reloads fast and positive, and the clean integral front sight with a fixed rear sight keeps the sight picture simple and fast - well suited to the defensive role this revolver was designed for.
