The Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 627 is an N-frame, double-action revolver chambered for 357 Magnum with secondary compatibility for 38 S&W Special +P. Built on S&W's largest revolver platform, this 8-shot revolver pairs a 2.63" stainless steel barrel with a stainless steel cylinder and a matte silver stainless steel frame, giving it a clean, no-nonsense profile suited to both personal protection and sport shooting.

As a Performance Center release, this Model 627 features the line's hallmark refinements: a PC-tuned action for a smooth, consistent trigger pull, a chrome-flashed teardrop hammer, a chrome-flashed trigger with a positive trigger stop, and an exposed hammer for single-action precision work. The DA/SA mechanism is paired with a ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight, allowing a precise sight picture whether the revolver is being run in double action for quick follow-up shots or cocked for single-action accuracy at the range.

The Model 627 wears classic finger-grooved wood grips that pair naturally with the matte silver stainless finish, providing a comfortable and secure hold.
