The Smith & Wesson Model 686 Plus is a premium .357 Magnum double-action revolver built on S&W's time-tested L-frame platform. The 3-inch barreled configuration offers an ideal balance of concealability and shootability for carry, home defense, and range duty, and the cylinder safely cycles .38 Special +P ammunition as well.

Chambered for seven rounds of .357 Magnum, the 686 Plus features an exposed hammer for precise single-action work and a smooth double-action trigger for rapid follow-up shots. The full-lug 3" barrel is paired with a stainless steel cylinder and a satin-finished stainless steel frame, giving the revolver substantial weight for managing magnum recoil. Overall length is 8.30" and weight is 37.40 oz.

Sights are a classic red ramp front blade paired with an adjustable white outline rear sight, delivering a fast, intuitive sight picture in varied lighting conditions. The revolver wears black and silver custom wood grips, adding a touch of classic styling to the all-stainless package.
