The Smith & Wesson Model 610 is a six-shot, big-bore N-Frame revolver built around the powerful 10mm Auto cartridge, and it also fires .40 S&W using the included moon clips. This is a traditional double-action/single-action revolver designed for personal protection, woods carry, and handgun hunting where a hard-hitting, controllable cartridge and a heavy, sight-radius-friendly package are wanted.

The 6.5-inch barrel, cylinder, and frame are all machined from stainless steel and given a bright stainless finish for corrosion resistance. An exposed hammer allows the shooter to cock the piece for a precise single-action trigger pull, while a smooth double-action pull handles rapid follow-up shots. A frame-mounted internal lock is included as a tamper-resistant safety feature. Sights consist of an interchangeable front blade and an adjustable rear for dialing in loads at distance.

The Model 610 wears black finger-grooved grips shaped to fill the hand and help tame recoil from full-power 10mm loads. Overall length is 12 inches, and the revolver weighs roughly 50 ounces, giving it the mass and balance that serious shooters look for in a hunting and defensive revolver.
