The Smith & Wesson Model 500 Performance Center is the magnum revolver that put S&W's massive X-Frame on the map. This Performance Center example is chambered in 500 S&W Magnum and is built on the stainless steel X-Frame in a matte stainless finish. It carries a 5-shot cylinder, a 7.50" stainless barrel topped with a factory muzzle brake, and the chromed trigger with over-travel stop that the Performance Center line is known for.

The single/double-action DA/SA revolver rides on the X-Large (X-Frame) platform sized specifically to contain the 500 S&W Mag cartridge. The 7.50" barrel is fitted with a factory muzzle brake to help manage the recoil of the magnum cartridge, and the cylinder is a 5-round stainless piece matched to the frame finish. Sights are a ramp front paired with an adjustable rear for precise work at distance.

Performance Center touches include a chromed hammer and chromed trigger with trigger stop. Grips are the black finger-grooved panel set standard on this PC configuration. Overall length is 15", weight is 69.40 oz, and the revolver is built in the USA and intended for personal protection and sport use.
