The Smith & Wesson Model 500 is the most powerful production revolver in the world, chambered in 500 S&W Magnum and built on the massive X-Frame platform. This 4" variant pairs a 4" compensated barrel with a 5-round cylinder, giving hunters and sport shooters the shortest-barrel configuration available on the Model 500 platform while still delivering the full-bore performance of the 500 S&W Mag cartridge.

The action is a traditional double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer for single-action precision shooting and a smooth DA pull for rapid follow-ups. Sights consist of a ramp front and an adjustable rear, and the satin stainless steel barrel ships with two interchangeable muzzle brakes that help tame the punishing recoil this cartridge generates. The stainless steel X-Frame with a satin cylinder finish resists corrosion in the field, and the revolver includes S&W's internal lock for safe storage.
