The Smith & Wesson Model 41 Performance Center is the top of the line in rimfire target pistols, chambered in 22 LR and built for serious precision shooting. This semi-automatic target pistol features a precision button-rifled 5.50" barrel with an integral Picatinny accessory rail for mounting optics, red dots, or other accessories.
The Model 41 is built on a steel full-size frame with a blued finish and a matching blued serrated slide that aids in charging the pistol. The action is a crisp single-action only (SAO) with a manual thumb safety, and the pistol feeds from single-stack magazines with a 10+1 capacity.
This Performance Center variant ships with two magazines, beautifully figured custom wood target grips, and is equipped with a removable front sight and adjustable rear sight for fine-tuned aim. At 42.2 oz, the Model 41 has the weight, balance, and refined trigger pull that have made it a favorite of competitive rimfire shooters for decades. The full-size frame allows both 5.5" and 7" barrels on the same platform, making this one of the most flexible .22 target pistols Smith & Wesson has ever offered.
Originally introduced in 1957 and used by national-level competitors for acute precision in competition, the Model 41 has earned its reputation as one of the finest .22 LR target pistols ever manufactured. This listing is current production from Smith & Wesson's Performance Center, made in the USA.
