Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield X PC Carry Comp 9mm 3.6" 13/15-Rd Optic-Ready Semi-Auto Pistol

The Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P9 Shield X Carry Comp is a premium carry-oriented variant of S&W's micro-compact striker-fired platform, chambered in 9mm Luger. Built around a black polymer micro-compact frame and a stainless steel slide with an integrated optic cut and slide serrations, the Carry Comp pairs a Performance Center-tuned 3.6" stainless steel fluted and ported barrel with a black Armornite finish for corrosion resistance. The 1:10" rate of twist stabilizes a broad range of 9mm defensive and training projectiles.

Configured as a no-manual-safety carry pistol, the Shield X uses S&W's proven M&P striker-fired action with a Performance Center-tuned trigger and integrated trigger safety for a clean, consistent break. Integrated barrel porting helps tame muzzle rise and felt recoil for faster, more accurate follow-up shots. Overall length is a carry-friendly 6.87", with a frame height of 4.9" and a slim 0.9" width, weighing approximately 20.6 oz unloaded.

The factory optic-cut slide accepts popular micro-red-dot footprints and co-witnesses with the included iron sights, while textured M&P grip panels and a beavertail extension provide positive control under recoil. A front accessory rail supports lights and lasers. The Carry Comp ships with two magazines - a flush-fit 13-round magazine for deep concealment and an extended 15-round magazine for full capacity - so the shooter can carry with maximum concealment or maximum firepower right out of the box.
