At the core of the pistol is a 4.22" ported barrel paired with a tuned M2.0 striker-fired action. The slide is cut to accept popular micro red-dot footprints and is finished with aggressive serrations up front and at the rear for positive press checks and easy slide manipulation. A manual thumb safety provides a tactile engagement for carry use, and the M&P's signature interchangeable palmswell grip inserts let the shooter dial hand fit to their liking. The aluminum frame keeps the platform planted during rapid fire without making the gun punishing to carry.
