The Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 is a 9mm Luger striker-fired semi-automatic pistol built on the proven M&P polymer platform and refined by S&W's Performance Center shop. This compact variant pairs a 4.22" ported stainless steel barrel with an integrated PowerPort compensator for reduced muzzle rise and faster follow-up shots. The barrel is cut at a 1:10" twist and finished in Armornite for corrosion resistance, and it is mounted in a stainless steel slide wearing a gray Armornite finish with rear serrations and a factory optic-ready cut.

The pistol feeds from 10-round double-stack magazines, giving a 10+1 capacity in a compact, carry-friendly footprint. It ships from the factory with two 10-round magazines included. The polymer frame wears an interchangeable palmswell grip system that lets the shooter dial in reach to their hand size, and a thumb safety is fitted on the frame for an added measure of control during carry and draw.

Performance Center touches continue at the controls: the trigger is a clean, flat-face unit with a PC-tuned break, and the slide is topped with a night sight front paired with a blacked-out serrated rear for a low-profile, snag-free sight picture that co-witnesses cleanly with most mounted red dots. The pistol carries the familiar 18-degree grip angle of the M&P line for natural pointability and consistent recoil management. Overall length is 7.25" with an unloaded weight of 25.4 oz.
