From the S&W Performance Center and finished in a durable Tungsten Gray Cerakote, this two-tone full-size pistol is aimed at competition and duty shooters who want an out-of-the-box race-ready platform.

Up front, a 5-inch barrel is paired with a slide that has been lightened with cuts on the top and sides for faster cycling and quicker follow-up shots. The slide is milled for popular reflex red-dot optics, and the iron-sight stack pairs a green fiber-optic front (serrated) with a blacked-out rear for fast target acquisition. A clean competition-style profile means there is no thumb safety on the frame, while interchangeable backstraps let you dial in the 18-degree grip angle for a natural point of aim.

Capacity is a generous 17+1 rounds of 9mm Luger, and the Competitor ships complete with four 17-round steel magazines.
