Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III .223 Rem/5.56 NATO 16" 10+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III is a semi-automatic AR-pattern modern sporting rifle chambered in 223 Rem/5.56 NATO. This fixed-stock configuration uses a gas-operated action and has a 10+1 capacity. It is intended for recreational shooting, sport shooting and professional applications.

The rifle has a 16" heavy 4140 steel barrel, placing it in the established 16" to 16.99" barrel-length range. The free-floating barrel features a black Armornite finish, 1:8" twist and 5R rifling. Its muzzle is non-threaded, and the operating system uses a mid-length gas system. A chromed firing pin is also part of the rifle's construction.

The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver has a black hard-coat anodized finish and a forged integral trigger guard. The established metal finish group is Blued/Black. A 15" free-floating M-LOK handguard provides accessory-mounting space, while the full-length Picatinny top rail accommodates an optic or separately selected sights. No sights are included. Controls and functional features include a thumb safety, forward assist and dust cover.

Black furniture consists of a fixed, non-adjustable synthetic stock and a polymer grip. The rifle measures 34" overall and weighs 6.40 lbs, placing it in the established 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range. One 10-round PMAG is included. This current-production rifle is offered in New condition.
