The Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 Sport Flag is a semi-automatic AR-platform rimfire rifle chambered in 22 LR, purpose-built as a low-recoil trainer that accepts most standard MSR furniture, controls, and accessories. This special edition stands out with a striking US Flag Cerakote finish applied to the polymer receiver and collapsible stock, paired with a black 16.50" threaded barrel.

Internally, the M&P15-22 uses a reliable blowback-operated action and feeds from a 25-round detachable magazine. The threaded barrel features a 1:15" twist for stabilizing a broad range of .22 LR ammunition and is tipped with a familiar A2 birdcage flash hider. An M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for mounting lights, lasers, or bipods, while a Picatinny rail up top offers a solid mounting platform for red dots, scopes, or magnifiers. Magpul MBUS front and rear flip-up iron sights come installed for immediate use.

Built around a lightweight polymer receiver, the rifle carries a 6-position collapsible CAR-style stock and an AR-style polymer pistol grip, both finished in matching US Flag Cerakote. Overall length adjusts from 30.50" to 33.80" to accommodate a wide range of shooters, and the rifle tips the scales at roughly 5 lbs. Controls mirror the AR-15 platform, including a thumb safety in the familiar location.
