The Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield X is a striker-fired, micro-compact 9mm Luger concealed-carry pistol built to push more rounds into a slimmer, shootable package than the Shield line that came before it.

Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 3.6" barrel and an overall length of just 6.87", the Shield X delivers a flush-fit capacity of 15+1, with an included 13-round magazine offering a more compact 13+1 carry option. The slide wears S&W's durable Armornite matte black finish, is optic cut for direct-mount red dot optics, and carries aggressive rear serrations for easy press-check and manipulation. A front night sight pairs with a rear sight for fast, intuitive target acquisition day or night.

Built around a high-strength polymer frame with textured grip panels, the Shield X measures just 0.9" wide and 4.9" tall, weighing only 20.8 oz unloaded - so it disappears in an IWB holster while still offering a confident, full-finger grip. This NTS (No Thumb Safety) variant ships without an external thumb safety for a clean, snag-free draw.
