The SilencerCo AC1561 ASR Flash Hider is a 9mm Luger muzzle device designed to suppress flash and serve as the mounting point for SilencerCo's ASR-equipped suppressors. Constructed from steel with a black finish, it is purpose-built for 9mm hosts running with or without a suppressor.

The ASR (Active Spring Retention) mount is SilencerCo's quick attach/detach system, letting the shooter install or remove compatible suppressors by hand without tools. The AC1561 threads onto hosts with a 13.5x1 LH left-hand pattern, the thread specification for this 9mm ASR flash hider.

Beyond suppressor mounting, the AC1561's primary job is flash reduction.
