The Sig Sauer P229 M11-A1 is a 9mm Luger compact duty pistol built on the proven P229 platform and designated by Sig Sauer as the Compact Military Sidearm. This variant carries a 3.90" barrel, 15+1 magazine capacity, and the classic DA/SA double-action/single-action trigger system that has made the P229 a trusted duty and carry gun.

The M11-A1 pairs a one-piece stainless steel slide finished in Sig Sauer's signature Black Nitron with a black hardcoat anodized aluminum alloy frame. The slide is serrated for positive manipulation and topped with SigLite Night sights for fast, intuitive target acquisition in low light. Internals are phosphate-coated for corrosion resistance and long-term durability under hard use, the barrel is chrome-lined for service-grade longevity, and a second-generation external extractor ensures reliable cycling.

Controls include a manual thumb safety and the SIG Short Reset Trigger (SRT) that shortens the reset for faster follow-up shots in single-action fire. The pistol wears black polymer grips, measures 7.1" overall, and weighs in at 32 oz. It ships in a plastic case as packaged by the manufacturer.
