The Sig Sauer P229 Enhanced Elite is a compact, duty-grade 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol purpose-built for personal protection and sport shooting. This California Compliant variant ships with 10-round magazines to meet California magazine-capacity restrictions while preserving the full feature set of the Enhanced Elite line.

The P229 Enhanced Elite uses a DA/SA (double-action/single-action) trigger system paired with Sig Sauer's signature short reset trigger (SRT) for fast, accurate follow-up shots. The 3.90" barrel and aluminum alloy frame produce a compact, controllable handgun weighing 34.4 oz.

The frame is machined from aluminum alloy and finished in Black Hardcoat Anodized, with a beavertail extension and front-strap checking for a positive, high-friction grip. A stainless steel slide with serrations carries SIGLITE Night Sights for quick low-light target acquisition, and the integrated black 1-piece Ergo grip rounds out the Enhanced Elite ergonomics.
