The Sig Sauer P229 Elite is a compact, duty-grade 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol built on the battle-proven P229 platform with a 3.9" barrel and 10+1 capacity. The Elite is sized to bridge the gap between concealed carry and full-size service use, pairing the trusted P229 ergonomic profile with a one-piece black E2 polymer grip, a beavertail alloy frame with front-strap checking, and an optic-ready slide machined to accept popular red-dot footprints.

The pistol uses Sig Sauer's classic DA/SA action paired with the company's Short Reset Trigger (SRT) for a lighter, crisper single-action break and faster follow-up shots. The black hardcoat-anodized alloy frame carries an integral accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers, while the steel slide is finished in matching black and features front and rear cocking serrations for easy press checks and manipulation.

The P229 Elite ships standard with SIGLITE Night Sights for fast, intuitive target acquisition in any light, and ambidextrous controls accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters. A beavertail tang, aggressive front-strap texturing, and the slim E2 grip module combine to give the shooter a secure, high hold for effective recoil management.
