Built around an aluminum alloy frame with a Flat Dark Earth PVD finish and a serrated slide with front cocking serrations, this P226 Scorpion ships with two 10-round magazines and is intended for sale in California and other jurisdictions that restrict standard-capacity pistol magazines.

Sig Sauer's proven double-action/single-action (DA/SA) action pairs a 10-pound first pull with a short reset trigger (SRT) for fast, accurate follow-up shots. The barrel measures 4.40" and delivers the accuracy the P226 is famous for, with an overall length of 8.2" and a weight of 34 oz that keeps the gun steady in rapid strings of fire. SIGLITE night sights are installed at the factory, providing a high-contrast three-dot aiming picture in low light.

Controls follow the standard P226 layout, with a frame-mounted decocker and no manual thumb safety, putting the hammer-drop, DA-first shot, and SA follow-ups all under direct control of the shooter's dominant hand. The grip is fitted with Flat Dark Earth Hogue Extreme G-10 Piranha panels, which combine the toughness of G-10 composite with an aggressive scaled texture for a secure hold in any condition.
