Sierra 2140 GameKing 30 Cal .308 165gr HPBT Reloading Bullets - 100/Box

The Sierra GameKing 2140 is a 165 grain .308 / 30 Caliber Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) rifle bullet purpose-built for hunters who need controlled expansion and deep penetration on medium to large game. Patterned after Sierra's famous 168 grain MatchKing, the 2140 is a hard bullet designed to expand in medium to large game only when driven at a muzzle velocity of 2500 fps or more.

Each bullet features a lead core encased in a precision-drawn copper jacket, formed around a hollow point cavity at the tip and a tapered boat-tail base for improved ballistic efficiency. The result is a hard, accurate hunting bullet with a sectional density of .248, engineered to deliver reliable expansion at appropriate hunting velocities. The no-cannelure design lets handloaders seat the bullet to their preferred overall cartridge length.
