The Shield Sights OMSx Glass Edition is a next-generation micro red dot engineered for high-level competitive shooting. Short for Open Mini Sight XL, the OMSx pairs an oversized toughened glass lens - roughly 80% larger than the standard Mini Sight line - with a rugged aluminum base bonded to an acrylic hood. The result is a low-profile, wide-field-of-view package that helps competitive shooters find and track the dot faster during rapid strings of fire.

At the core of the sight is a crisp 4 MOA dot that balances speed on close targets with precision at distance. The open reflex design keeps the sight body slim while delivering an unobstructed sight picture, and the Glass Edition's enlarged lens makes dot acquisition noticeably quicker under match pressure. Built on the RMS footprint, the OMSx drops into a wide range of factory and aftermarket pistol slide cuts without the need for adapter plates.

Power is supplied by a single CR2032 lithium battery rated for approximately 20,000 hours of runtime, keeping the optic running through long practice days and matches without frequent battery changes. The whole package weighs only 0.205 lbs in a compact 2.5" x 3.9" x 1.7" housing.
