The Shield Sights OMSsc (Open Mini Sight sub-compact) is a compact reflex red dot purpose-built for concealed carry and other small-form-factor handguns. This Glass Edition introduces Shield's world-first translucent roof, an unobstructed-view design that opens up the sight picture and lets ambient light flood the emitter for a brighter, crisper dot than a conventional enclosed mini sight.

At the core of the OMSsc is a single 4 MOA red dot projected through an open emitter reflex window, with automatic brightness adjustment that reads the surrounding light and dials the dot intensity to match. The result is fast, intuitive target acquisition without manual controls to manage under stress, ideal for defensive use. The non-magnified reflex lens keeps the optic compact and the sight picture true to both eyes.

The OMSsc is built around a rugged 6082-T6 aluminum housing in a low-profile Black finish, sized to drop directly onto slides cut for the Shield footprint (the same RMSc-pattern mounting standard used across Shield's compact mini-sight line).
