The Shadow Systems DR920 Elite is a full-size, duty-ready 9mm Luger striker-fired pistol built around a 4.5" bronze spiral-fluted 416R stainless steel barrel with an unthreaded crown. Purpose-built for duty carry and defensive performance, the DR920 shares the external dimensions of a Glock 17 and is engineered to drop into existing G17-pattern holsters, magazines, and gear, making it a familiar upgrade for sworn officers, home-defense shooters, and anyone who runs a duty-sized 9mm.

The slide wears a black nitride finish and is machined with aggressive front and rear serrations, a window cut that lightens the muzzle end and lets the shooter visually confirm chamber status, and an optics-ready cut for direct-mount red dots. The frame is molded in black polymer with an interchangeable backstrap system so the grip circumference can be tuned to hand size. The proven striker-fired action is configured without a manual thumb safety for a clean, duty-style presentation.

A tritium night sight front paired with a black serrated rear gives the shooter a low-light aiming solution straight out of the box, and the optic cut accepts slide-mounted red dots. The DR920 Elite measures 7.75" overall and tips the scales at roughly 22.4 oz unloaded, balancing carryable dimensions with the sight radius and muzzle weight expected of a duty 9mm.
