The Shadow Systems CR920 War Poet is a subcompact 9mm Luger striker-fired pistol purpose-built for everyday concealed carry. Part of the War Poet series from Shadow Systems, this CR920 carries the slim, single-stack footprint that has made the platform a favorite for appendix and inside-the-waistband carry, paired with distinctive spiral-fluted barrel and slide treatments that set it apart from the standard Elite lineup.

Up front sits a match-grade 3.40" spiral-fluted 416R stainless steel barrel finished in nitride for reduced weight, improved heat handling, and excellent corrosion resistance. The slide wears the same nitride coating and is machined with an optic cut for direct mounting of popular micro red dots, plus front and rear serrations and window cuts that shed weight and give the War Poet its aggressive look. A tritium night sight front pairs with a black serrated rear for fast, intuitive target acquisition in any light.

The frame uses an aggressively textured black polymer grip module with an overall length of 6.37", a height of 4.25", and an unloaded weight of just 17.8 oz, so it carries comfortably all day without printing. This War Poet ships with both a flush-fit 10+1 magazine and an extended 13+1 magazine, letting the shooter run the pistol as deep-concealment flush or with the higher-capacity extended grip. The striker-fired action runs without a manual safety for a clean, consistent press.
