Savage Impulse Mountain Hunter 300 Win Mag 24" 3+1 Bolt Action Rifle

The Savage Impulse Mountain Hunter is a straight-pull bolt-action big game rifle chambered in 300 Win Mag. Built for backcountry hunting where every ounce matters, the Mountain Hunter pairs Savage's straight-pull Impulse action with the Hexlock safety system for fast, intuitive follow-up shots in the field.

The 24" Proof Research carbon fiber-wrapped stainless steel barrel features a 1:10" twist and is threaded 5/8x24 for the included OmniPort muzzle brake to tame felt recoil. The barrel is mated to a black aluminum receiver with an integrated Picatinny optics rail, and the rifle ships without iron sights.

At the heart of the action is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, paired with a tang safety. The Impulse Mountain Hunter feeds from a detachable 3-round box magazine for a 3+1 capacity, with one magazine included. Overall length measures 46.75" and total rifle weight is 7.39 lbs.

The chassis-style gray AccuStock synthetic stock features a black rubber cheekpiece and grip inlays for positive control in cold or wet conditions. The fully ambidextrous stock makes this Impulse equally comfortable on either shoulder. New from Savage Arms.
