Savage Impulse Hog Hunter 6.5 Creedmoor 20" 4+1 Bolt Rifle

The Savage Impulse Hog Hunter is a purpose-built hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, engineered for fast follow-up shots on running hogs. Rather than a conventional lift-and-rotate turn-bolt, the Impulse uses Savage's Hexlock bolt system, cycling with a straight rearward and forward pull for faster shot-to-shot times in the field.

This Hog Hunter configuration is built around a 20" button-rifled carbon steel barrel with a 1:8" twist, finished in matte black and threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle for suppressor or muzzle brake installation. The barrel is hand-straightened at the Savage factory to deliver MOA-capable accuracy. Up top, the action sits inside a matte black aluminum receiver that is drilled and tapped for optics; iron sights are intentionally omitted so the shooter can mount their preferred scope.

The stock is Savage's OD Green AccuStock with AccuFit, offering tool-free comb height adjustment and interchangeable length-of-pull spacers for a custom fit across different shooters or seasonal layering. Savage's signature user-adjustable AccuTrigger ships set to a clean, light pull and can be tuned to the shooter's preference without removing the stock or trigger assembly.

The Impulse action is designed for ambidextrous use and can be configured for left- or right-hand primary operation. It feeds from a detachable 4-round box magazine for an effective 4+1 capacity in 6.5 Creedmoor. Overall weight is 8.81 lbs with an overall length of 41.50".

Made in the USA by Savage Arms, the Impulse Hog Hunter ships with one detachable box magazine and is sold in factory-new condition.
