At the heart of the action is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, which lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull without a trip to the gunsmith. A top tang safety sits within easy reach of the firing-hand thumb, while the carbon steel receiver is finished in matte black and drilled and tapped for scope bases. The B17 F Compact ships with no iron sights installed, ready for the optic of your choice.

The fixed synthetic stock is finished in matte black and features an ergonomic, target-style vertical pistol grip with a higher comb for a more natural head position behind the scope.
