Savage B Series FV-SR 17 HMR 16.25" 10+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage B Series FV-SR is a bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered in the 17 HMR cartridge, purpose-built for hunting and target shooting with a suppressor-ready configuration for right-handed shooters. Part of Savage's modern B Series rimfire line, the FV-SR pairs a heavy-profile barrel, a user-adjustable trigger, and a threaded muzzle on a compact, carry-friendly platform.

At the heart of the rifle is a 16.25" heavy button-rifled barrel finished in matte black and threaded at the muzzle for direct mounting of a sound suppressor or other muzzle device. The barrel is cut with a 1:9 twist to stabilize 17 HMR projectiles, and the action is housed in a carbon steel receiver topped with an integrated Picatinny optics rail for straightforward scope mounting. Sights are intentionally omitted, allowing the shooter to choose the optic that best fits the application.

The proven Savage AccuTrigger is standard, giving the shooter a crisp, user-adjustable release, while a top tang safety provides simple thumb operation. The rifle feeds from a detachable rotary magazine for an overall 10+1 capacity, and the action is operated via a classic right-hand bolt handle.

A fixed black synthetic stock with a matte finish keeps weight to a carry-friendly 5.60 lbs and provides a stable platform for the field. The metalwork carries a matte blued finish, and overall length measures 34.75", making the FV-SR well-balanced for prone, bench, and walk-and-hunt carry.
