Savage B.MAG 17 WSM 22" 8+1 Bolt Action Rimfire Rifle

The Savage B.MAG is a purpose-built bolt-action rimfire rifle chambered for the flat-shooting 17 WSM (Winchester Super Magnum) cartridge. Designed from the ground up around the rimfire magnum, the B.MAG pairs a .17 caliber bullet with long-range trajectory and reach, making it equally at home on varmint hunts and at the extended-range rimfire target line.

This full-size configuration centers on a 22-inch matte black carbon steel barrel with a target crown muzzle and a 1:9" twist chosen to stabilize 17 WSM projectiles. The barrel is mated to a matte black carbon steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for scope bases and ships with no iron sights installed. The action runs on a traditional bolt with a thumb safety and Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, letting the shooter dial in a clean, crisp break without a trip to the gunsmith.

The rifle feeds from a detachable rotary magazine for a total working capacity of 8+1 rounds, and tips the scales at just 4.95 lbs with an overall length of 40.50". A fixed matte black synthetic stock fills out the right-hand chassis, keeping the platform light, weather-resistant, and ready for long days in the field.

Purpose-built for hunting and target shooting, the Savage 96901 B.MAG is a current-production rimfire bolt-action designed to push the limits of what a .17 caliber rimfire can do.
