Savage Axis XP Combo Compact 223 Rem 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Left Hand

The Savage Arms Axis XP Combo Compact is a purpose-built 223 Rem bolt-action rifle configured specifically for left-handed shooters in a shorter, lightweight package intended for the range and the field.

At its core is a 20" button-rifled barrel with a 1:9" twist, paired with a carbon steel receiver finished in matte black. The action feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine for an overall 4+1 capacity, and the rifle ships without iron sights since the optic is supplied as part of the XP Combo package.

The compact Fixed Sporter stock is molded from black synthetic with contoured grip and fore-end surfaces, keeping overall weight at 7.40 lbs and overall length at 39.50". The shorter, trim profile is well suited to smaller-framed shooters, younger hunters, and anyone who wants a more maneuverable hunting rifle.

As part of the XP Combo package, this Axis ships with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40 scope, so the rifle is ready for the range or the field right out of the box.
