The Savage Axis XP Combo is a value-packed hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, ready to hunt right out of the box with a factory-mounted optic. This right-hand bolt-action rifle pairs a 22-inch button-rifled carbon steel barrel with a black synthetic Fixed Sporter stock and the smooth, reliable bolt operation that has made the Axis platform one of the most popular entry-level hunting rifles on the market.

At the heart of the rifle is Savage's proven button-rifled barrel with a 1:8 twist rate, well suited to stabilizing the wide range of bullet weights used for 6.5 Creedmoor hunting and long-range shooting. The barrel carries a matte black finish and is mated to a carbon steel receiver drilled and tapped for optics. The rifle ships without iron sights, relying instead on the included factory-mounted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope secured to a 2-piece Weaver-style base for a true turnkey shooting package.

The Axis XP Combo feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity well suited to hunting applications. A thumb safety sits behind the bolt for positive, instinctive engagement, and the black synthetic stock features a modern contoured grip and fore-end for comfortable carry in the field.
