The Savage Axis XP Left Hand is a compact hunting bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, purpose-built for left-handed shooters who want out-of-the-box accuracy without the extra step of sourcing and mounting an optic. This XP variant ships with a 3-9x40 scope mounted by the factory, so the rifle arrives ready for the range or the field.

At the heart of the rifle is a 20" carbon steel barrel with a 1:8" twist and button rifling, threaded at 5/8x24 to accept a standard range of muzzle accessories. The matte black oxide finish on the barrel and receiver pairs with a black synthetic stock to keep the platform lightweight and weather-resistant. A two-position safety rounds out the controls, and the bolt feeds from a detachable 4-round box magazine for a 4+1 total capacity. Overall length measures 40.50", and the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept the included scope mounting.
