The Savage Axis XP package rifle delivers a ready-to-hunt bolt action in .308 Winchester, pairing a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope on a Weaver-style base with the proven Axis platform. The "XP" designation marks the scope package - this rifle ships with the optic mounted and ready to shoot.

Built around a 20" barrel with a matte black finish and a 1:10" twist for stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights, the Axis XP uses a bolt action feeding from a 4-round detachable box magazine for a 4+1 capacity. The action is mated to a black synthetic stock sized for right-handed shooters, and the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept the included scope base.

Overall length measures 40.5", keeping the rifle compact and well-balanced for stand, blind, or stalking applications. A two-position safety at the tang provides quick engagement.
