The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo packages the proven Axis 2 bolt-action platform in a hunt-ready rig chambered in 400 Legend. This right-handed rifle ships with a 20" matte black sporter barrel threaded into a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver, giving shooters a flat, neutral platform for the factory-mounted optic.

The action is fitted with Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, letting shooters dial in a clean, consistent pull, along with thread-in headspacing for repeatable lockup. The action feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine, giving a 4+1 total capacity, and the barrel runs a 1:16 rate of twist.

The ergonomic hardwood stock is finished in a warm brown tone, offering a classic look paired with an ergonomic profile for comfortable handling. Combined with the sporter-contoured barrel and overall 42.50" length at 7.80 lbs, the rifle is well-balanced for carry.

Out of the box this combo ships with two Weaver-style bases and a factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40mm scope with fully multi-coated lenses and toolless windage and elevation adjustments, so the rifle is ready for the range or the woods with no extra mounting work required. No iron sights are fitted, leaving the rail free for the included optic.
