At the heart of the rifle is Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger, paired with a 1:10" twist and a detachable box magazine that gives the rifle a 4+1 capacity. Iron sights are not included; the receiver comes drilled and tapped for optics, and a factory-mounted, boresighted 3-9x40 scope ships with the rifle so it is ready for the field straight from the box.
