Chambered in 30-06 Springfield, this Axis 2 XP Combo wears a 22-inch matte black sporter barrel with a 1:10" twist that stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights. The barreled action sits in a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver finished in matte black, ready to accept the included scope mounting bases.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows the pull weight to be set to the shooter's preference, and the redesigned bolt handle offers improved leverage and a cleaner look over the original Axis.
