The Savage Axis 2 XP Combo is a value-packed bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 223 Rem, built around a 22" matte black sporter barrel and a drilled and tapped carbon steel receiver. This left-hand configuration pairs the barreled action with an ergonomic hardwood stock finished in brown, giving it the classic feel of a traditional sporting rifle at an accessible price point.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters fine-tune the pull weight to their preference, and the 1:9" twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights. The rifle ships with a factory-mounted and boresighted Weaver 3-9x40mm scope featuring fully multi-coated lenses and toolless windage and elevation adjustments, and includes two Weaver-style bases for the included optic.
