Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland Compact 6mm ARC 20" 4+1 Bolt Action Rifle - Right Hand

The Savage Axis 2 Pro Woodland Compact brings the updated Axis 2 platform into a shorter, maneuverable package chambered in 6mm ARC. Built around a bolt-action design with user-adjustable AccuTrigger, thread-in headspacing, and a one-piece optics rail, this compact rifle ships ready to mount a scope and head to the field.

The 20" threaded barrel is paired with a 1:7.5" twist rate suited to stabilizing a wide range of 6mm ARC bullet weights for predator, varmint, and big game hunting. Savage finishes the barrel and action in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance, and the receiver is machined from carbon steel. No iron sights are installed, leaving the top rail clean for an optic of your choice.

The fixed stock is molded in Savage Woodland camouflage synthetic with an integrated pistol grip, sized for compact handling in a right-handed configuration. The rifle feeds from a detachable 4-round magazine (one included) for a 4+1 capacity, and the action features an updated ergonomic bolt handle. Overall length measures 39.50" with a total weight of approximately 6.70 lbs.

Designed for hunters who want a shorter, lighter bolt-action rifle in a modern, accurate cartridge, the Axis 2 Pro Woodland Compact is equally at home on a deer stand or a coyote stand. The threaded muzzle allows easy addition of a suppressor or muzzle device.
