The Savage Axis 2 Pro Western is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 6mm ARC, configured here for left-hand shooters. The action is built around a carbon steel receiver dressed in a tough Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish, paired with a 20" carbon steel barrel that is threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle accessories and given a 1:7.5" twist to stabilize the 6mm ARC bullet. A one-piece Savage Western Camo stock with a fixed profile and integrated pistol grip fills out the package.

Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets you dial in your preferred pull weight without a trip to the gunsmith, and the action's thread-in headspacing system keeps things tight and consistent. The rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine for a total capacity of 4+1, runs an overall length of 40.50", carries a field-friendly 6.80 lbs, and offers a 12.75" length of pull.
