The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro Western is a purpose-built left-hand hunting rifle chambered in 400 Legend. Built around Savage's proven bolt-action platform, the Axis 2 Pro Western pairs a 20" Heavy Sporter threaded barrel finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance in the field with a one-piece rail on the receiver that accepts your choice of scope or red dot.

The carbon steel receiver is paired with a fixed stock featuring a pistol grip and a Natural Camouflage finish that helps break up the rifle's outline in the field. Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets the shooter dial in a clean, crisp pull weight to suit their preference, and the rifle runs a 4+1 capacity. The barrel carries a 1:16-inch twist rate, and the threaded muzzle allows easy attachment of a muzzle device or suppressor.

Weighing in at 6.80 lbs with an overall length of 40.50", the Axis 2 Pro Western balances well in the hands and shoulders naturally for off-hand and prone shooting. This is a new Savage Arms rifle, ready to head straight to the range or the field.
